In five short months and with no bar tending or mixology experience, this Toxik power couple has transcended their Daiquiri shop into a well frequented Daquiri and Hookah Lounge that is one of the most sought after establishments in East Houston.
Elisha Bowie, originating from West Texas and Dallas raised has called Houston home for the last seven years. A natural people person and warm spirit who has always found herself most happy seeing others smile. A true Southern Bell, her relocation to Houston happened almost seamlessly and was naturally was a perfect fit for her entrepreneurial spirit. While, Percy Bowie, North Houston born was later raised in Jackson Mississippi, and for the last 16 years has called Houston home. Always on the back of the young business savvy couples mind was establishing their own legacy. A dream that turned to reality, bringing the city of Houston something to call its own, with an incredible response from the community of East Houston.
The Toxik Daiquiri has quickly become a daiquiri hotspot and staple of good vibes, with a splash of cultural essence! The Houston couple has taken each day in stride and have earned five star review after five star review, 22 on Google reviews to be exact.
